Ellevill Paisley

Ellevill Paisley

A new luxurious wrap from Ellevill the Paisley is 50 % bamboo. Available in various colours and feels supersoft to your baby’s skin.

Paisley or Paisley pattern is a droplet-shaped vegetable motif of Indian and Persian origin, similar to half of the Yin yang symbol. The pattern is sometimes called “Persian pickles” by American traditionalists, especially quiltmakersas far back as 1888. In Sanskrit the design is known as mankolam and has long been used in India. It resembles a mango and has sometimes been associated with Hinduism. Some design scholars call the distinctive shape boteh and believe it is the convergence of a stylized floral spray and a cypress tree: a Zoroastrian symbol of life and eternity.

Product Description

Ellevill Paisley wraps are designed by Ellevill and produced in India under strict international ISO requirements.

PLEASE NOTE- All wraps are now machine woven, not hand woven. But that does not mean that they will be perfect and flawless, only fewer and less flaws. The wraps are not woven by auto looms. Ellevill believes in the old traditions of weaving. The small machine looms that are used in the production of Ellevill wraps are still run by the hand of humans and can therefore not be perfect. This is art and uniqueness, not flaws as many people think. This is a big difference.

Any minor imperfections that may exist, WILL NOT affect the safety, comfort or durability of the Ellevill wrap in any way!
