Ring slings are a simple to use sling, comprised of a stretch of fabric with 2 rings sewn in one end. The other end is threaded through the rings & pulled to adjust & create a pouch for the baby to sit or lie in. They are wonderfully versatile as usually one size fits all wearers, they are great from newborns right up to toddlers who want to be 'up & down' frequently, have an easy learning curve, several different carrying positions & are easy to breast feed in, plus the 'tail' can be great for covering up while feeding or sheltering from the sun. They can also be great for laying a sleeping baby down, as you just loosen the rings, lay the child down, then pull the remaining tail through the rings & leave the sling under the dreaming child!
