All Connectas are constructed with two full layers of drill fabric in the body. They are sewn with extra strong thread (made for load bearing seams) on industrial sewing machines. The Connecta has been rigorously tested in a laboratory and passed the BS EN 13209-2:2005 safety standard for soft baby carriers.
All Connectas (apart from fur & fleece lined and Solarweave) have an extra layer of light padding in the body unless otherwise requested.
Connectas made prior to November 2007 have hidden internal reinforcing stitching. Connectas made after November 2007 have externally visible 'x-box' reinforcements.
